Hardware and Software Installation
ITC software operates as either a stand–alone or network based (LAN or WAN) system, within a Windows environment.
Server and Networks
Compatible Client/Server network environments are Windows NT Server, Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 Server.
We advise that any WAN environment or LAN environments with more than 4 concurrent user licenses should be supported by an SQL Server 7, 2000 2005, 2008 (Full Versions, NOT Express) , or equivalent RDBMS such as Oracle. Where GSD is supported by such systems the customer must ensure that qualified support staff is in place to manage and support the RDBMS system.
Network client or standalone PC Hardware
As a minimum specification we recommend the following machine technology for the GSD clients. P4 Processor or Celeron equivalent, minimum 128MB Ram, recommended 256MB Ram or greater, minimum 20GB HDD, recommended 40GB or above, compatible Graphics Card, Sound Card, Keyboard & Mouse, minimum 15" Monitor running at 1024 x 768, Network card required if network enabled, USB Port, Windows Vista Business, Windows 7 Professional (32 Bit). Where an alternative RDBMS such as Oracle or SQL Server is used, please consult with your local vendor to find out the minimum specification requirements of those database solutions.
